The Chihuahua Raven prefers the arid and desert landscape of New Mexico. Ravens are very social, aggressive and are powerful fliers. Ravens can often be seen pestering eagles and other birds of prey. Ravens cannot locate prey by smell, but wait until a predator kills an animal and then scavenges the remains. They are often mistaken for the crow, but ravens are much larger, ranging in size from 20-27 inches.
